Revolution® Spot-On for Dogs

Product Overview

Revolution (selamectin) for Dogs is a topical solution used for the control of fleas, the prevention of heartworm disease, and the treatment and control of ear mites, sarcoptic mange, and biting lice in dogs. It also provides control of certain roundworm infections. Revolution is applied once monthly as directed by a veterinarian for dogs and puppies six weeks of age and older, starting at a minimum weight of 5.7 lb.

Weight-Based Dosing

• Puppies 6 weeks and older, 5.7 lb and up: Pink box (up to 5.5 lb)
• Extra Small Dogs 5.6 to 11 lb: Purple box
• Small Dogs 11.1 to 22 lb: Brown box
• Medium Dogs 22.1 to 44 lb: Red box
• Large Dogs 44.1 to 88 lb: Teal box

For dogs over 88 lb, use a combination of tubes as directed by a veterinarian.

How to Apply

1. Remove a tube from the package.

2. Twist the cap to break the seal.

3. Part the fur at the base of the neck and apply the entire contents of the tube directly to the skin.

Avoid applying to wet fur. Do not massage the product into the skin. Follow the label instructions regarding bathing after application.

• Selamectin

Selamectin is an antiparasitic active ingredient used for the control of specific internal and external parasites as listed on the product label.

Safety Information

Use only on dogs and puppies six weeks of age and older and weighing at least 5.7 lb. Do not use on animals younger than 6 weeks. Side effects may include temporary hair loss or mild irritation at the application site. Use only on animals for which it is intended. Do not use in animals with a known sensitivity to selamectin. Follow all directions and precautions found on the label.

Storage and Handling

Store below 86°F (30°C). Keep away from heat and open flame. Wash hands after handling. Keep out of reach of children and animals.

Additional Information
